  • For Eyes Optometrist is located in 158 High Street, a short 6 minute drive away from Beaconsfield.

  • There is free 1 hour parking out the front of the practice. The next best options are paid parking close by in Parry Street.

  • Yes, we provide all of these services. Both of our optometrists are members of The
    Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrists, the Contact lens Society and the Orthokeratology Society of Oceania.

  • We are a private billing practice and there may be an out-of-pocket expense for your eye examination. We routinely take a wide field scan of the eye and there is no rebate for these scans with either Medicare or private health funds. Please feel free to call us on 9335 3433 if you would like more information.

  • No, there is no requirement for a referral to see one of our optometrists even for a behavioural or neuro eye assessments. If, however, you do have a referral, it is welcomed and please bring it with you to the appointment.

  • We carry out a detailed eye examination and therefore allow at least 30 minutes for each patient we see. If we are carrying out other tests, such as a diabetic eye examination or behavioural assessment, please allow between 45 to 90 minutes.

  • If this is your first time visiting our practice, if your would please fill out our Welcome to For Eyes form and either email to reception@foreyes.com.au or bring it along to your appointment. If you are unable to complete the form in advance, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment time to complete the form in the practice.

    Please also bring your Medicare card, private health fund card, any current spectacles that you are using and (if relevant) any referrals from other health professionals.

  • Our optometrists will recommend a timeframe for your next eye exam and will set a recall date so that you get sent an SMS or email reminder around the time that your next appointment is due. This can range between 3 months to 18 months.
