Our goal is to make your introduction to For Eyes Optometrist straightforward and reassuring. We work with every new patient to explain what to expect, answer questions, and prepare for a thorough assessment. Our experienced team uses advanced diagnostic equipment to ensure your first visit is efficient, informative, and focused on your eye health.
What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
When you are a new patient, it is important that we gather as much information as possible regarding your ocular history, general health and family history. Please complete our Welcome to For Eyes Optometrist form (see links below) and bring with you to your first appointment.

Getting to Our Clinic and Finding Parking

Our store is located on High Street, with 1-hour free parking bays along both sides of the road. This should allow enough time for your eye test.

2-hour parking: Parry Street (EasyPark location 34134)
All-day parking:
Ellen Street near the tennis courts (EasyPark location 34551)
Fremantle Prison parking facility (EasyPark location 34549) off Parry Street

Important to note: the Fremantle Traffic Bridge is being replaced with a new gateway to Walyalup (Fremantle). While construction techniques are allowing the existing bridge to stay open for the remainder of 2025, the bridge will close for up to 12 months starting in early 2026.

Founder / Optometrist
Adrian has over 35 years of experience as an optometrist in independent practice, as a contact lens adviser to industry and as a family eye care practitioner. His professional interests revolve around improving children’s vision and working with specialty contact lenses for adults and children.

Optometrist
Sinead is passionate about all areas of Optometry including contact lenses, myopia control and Indigenous Eye Health. Sinead is also involved in running a Diabetic Eye Screening clinic at Fremantle Hospital and the supervision of students in the Doctor of Optometry at the University of Western Australia.

Karega completed her Doctor of Optometry at The University of Western Australia with Distinction. In addition, she has a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (with High Distinction) from the University of Notre Dame. She is passionate about proactive management of eye health and is committed to staying current with advances in optometry, delivering care that is both thorough and compassionate. She is known for a friendly and approachable manner, building trusting relationships with patients and tailoring her care to individual’s needs.

Hannah completed her Master of Optometry at Deakin University with distinction. She has a particular interest in paediatric optometry together with colour vision testing and low vision care. She holds an advanced certificate in children’s vision and is a CASA certified optometrist.

Olivia is an Orthoptist who has recently arrived in Australia. She has experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of eye disorders, having previously worked with the National Health Service in the United Kingdom. Nicole emigrated to Perth from South Africa where she was the main optometrist and manager for a practice in Johannesburg. She brings a comprehensive knowledge of eye examinations, as well as dispensing of spectacles, contact lenses and sunglasses to our practice.

Clare has been involved with For Eyes Optometrist from the acquisition of the practice in 2015. I have been told that I love paper - a great attribute for an accountant! She is also a Senior Lecturer for the Doctor of Optometry at the University of Western Australia.
